God is meeting needs and exceeding expectations!
I must admit, I was nervous at the start of summer. Attendance can be lower at church during the summer, and with that can come smaller offerings, but the bills are not smaller! Indeed, summer bills in Florida can be quite large…but our God is greater! Not only have our needs been soundly met, but this past Sunday’s service was the best attended in quite some time. We are seeing unity and growth, and God is moving among us. I can confidently say that God is answering our prayers. And as we continue to pray, we are confident that God is going to do even greater things among us. (more below)…
Sundays are not the only growth we have seen. Our Wednesday services have been FANTASTIC. We’ve gone from having less than a handful of people to a wonderful group of individuals and families. Each week we first meet together first for a fellowship meal. Afterwards, we gather everyone in the sanctuary (including the children) for worship with our amazing youth band! The youth lead the worship entirely by themselves, both singing and playing the instruments. After worship, the children go to their class, and the adults and teens stay in the sanctuary for line upon line teaching through the Bible. Currently, we are going through the book of Mark, which we have been in for over a year! (We’re almost done!)
I can’t express how much I enjoy our Wednesday night services. We have wonderful fellowship, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching verse by verse. It is truly a family feel, the way I believe God intended the church to be.
I am excited about the days to come. We are moving in a good direction. Also, I believe God has given me some ideas on how to reach out to the community. I hope to see these implemented shortly. Please keep us in prayer.

Our children are beyond excited for school to start back up! And we are excited, too. I accepted a (very) part-time position at my children’s school as a PE teacher. I’ve been wanting to be more involved with their school, and this will give me the opportunity. It is also a financial blessing. Elmer (4) will be starting school for the first time. It is fun to see our little boy grow up!
Continue to pray that God would provide for us a house! We would love to have a place that we can call our own.
Thank you for praying with us and supporting us. We couldn’t have done it without you! God bless you and we love you!
