Increase

Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.
Proverbs 3:9-10

I like this scripture. And it is so true! I have been a testimony to the truth of this scripture.

Ever since I learned that it was God’s will for me to give 10% of my income to my local church, I have always done it. I can’t remember a time where I haven’t. It was never a question for me, I just did it no matter how much or little money I had.

And I’ve been blessed! It didn’t come immediately. It’s still not were I’d like to be, but I’ve kept increasing more and more. It’s nothing special that we have done, but it’s like the Lord has continued to set us up for blessing. Job offers out of nowhere, pay increases, gifts from people, free things here and there. It’s the blessing of God!

We are blessed to be a blessing. The more that we give, the more that we increase. The more that we increase the more that we give. The more that we give, the more that we increase! Glory to God.
