“Are they (Angels) not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?”
Glory to God, I’ve got angels serving for me! You know, we are sometimes such physically minded people that we have no idea what is going on in the spirit. We probably won’t fully know until we go on to be with the Lord. On earth we see through a glass darkly, but then we will see face to face.
There are angels around us. What are they doing? Well, according to scripture they are serving for us. They are out doing things for us. Doing what things? I don’t really know specifically In the bible angels brought messages, they stirred water for healing, they set people free from prison, they fought with evil spiritual powers, they protected God’s people, and probably many other things that I can’t think of. But the truth is that they are around us and we don’t put much thought into that fact. Its so easy to ignore what you can’t see. There could be a treasure of gold underneath your house and you could be within two feet of it every day for your entire life, but still be a poor old beggar. You can’t take advantage of what you don’t know about. That’s why its so important to study the Word. The Word of God is a window into the unseen realm of the spirit. You won’t be knowledgeable about the spiritual world with out it.
Angels are a treasure and a blessing from God. We should understand them and learn how to work with them to achieve God’s purposes.
