Since college classes are over for the year, I took most of the month of May to build out a much need office space for myself. We took a 16×10 shed and converted it into a beautiful spot to be able to focus on study and prayer. It took longer than I thought it would, but it sure is great to have now that it is done. I also plan to use it as a studio for ministry videos in the future. It came together even better than I expected and everyone at the house is jealous that I have nice little spot of my own. The build included running electric, insulating, drywall, flooring, and typical cosmetic work. We also built a work-bench style shelf along the back wall for both storage and decorative backdrop for videos. I finished just in time to use it to prepare for a sermon I preached at Connect Church at the end of the month. It will be used to prepare for many more in the future.

In other news, my son, Spencer, had his two front teeth knocked out during a baseball game. Unfortunately, they are his permanent teeth, so we had to make a trip to Gainesville, FL to put them back in. The dentist is hopeful that everything will work out fine. We hope to have more news about it in a couple weeks. Right now he has to wear a brace to keep them steady. He’s still as cute as ever and took it all like a champ. Proud of my little buddy!

I don’t have much more to report for this month, but I am anticipating some exciting news in the weeks to come. So stay tuned!
